Ancient Faith Radio review

Kind readers,

goodness… Goodness… I am so humbled that I am having trouble putting sentences together.

My first small book of mystical Snape essays, Bring forth the best robes: a spiritual understanding of Severus Snape, has been reviewed on Ancient Faith Radio by the Orthodox author of such wonderful books as The Woman and the Wheat, Jane G. Meyer.

I knew that she would, but, I mean… I really was not convinced that my scribblings were worthy of a review of any kind on Ancient Faith Radio. I am in a state of shock. I have not listened to it yet, though I shall, um, once I have gotten used to the notion that this has happened.

Here is the link… Click on the image if you would like to listen to it…

I am going to, um, drink some Firewhiskey meditate. My better half is in the kitchen making me something to eat, a special treat; my hands are like ice. I seem to have lost blood circulation.

How can I be God’s instrument, even for a moment? But all things are possible to Him, who has mercy upon my afflicted heart. Every day I pray, Have mercy on me, for You know the weakness of my mind, soul and body, and You know how much I long to please You.

I am just, you know… A little oddball who desires to share the Lord’s love, and although I do not do so very well most of the time, I try as best I can. That is all.

Your devoted
Logospilgrim, the quiet professor

  1. Congratulations on such a nice review of your book. I hope this serves to spread the word on “Bring Forth The Best Robes”, and that, in turn, helps you to spread The Word.

    Peace be with you,

  2. I just listened to the podcast. Congratulations on the positive review! 🙂 It is well-deserved.

I just finished reading A light burden and enjoyed it. After reading it I feel like I know you just a little bit better, even though we have never met. I, too, have hoped that the Catholic and Orthodox Churches would reach a greater understanding of each other and become re-unified someday.

I want to purchase one of your beautiful rosaries, but I can’t decide which one!

    • Thank you so very much for all your kind words 🙂

I hope and pray that reconciliation between the Churches will occur within my lifetime… In any event, regardless of what the officials can accomplish, I am reconciled, myself, with all.

I am so happy that you like the rosaries! I cannot tell you what a blessing it has been to make them.
