The Severus Snape Paradigm

Kind readers,

I have just ordered 50 copies of The Severus Snape Paradigm… They will soon be on their way to the Portofino in Orlando.

Goodness. I am exhausted. But it was worth it, because it was for you.

Here is the full cover:

The book is now available directly from lulu. It should be available on amazon also not too long after Ascendio.

In addition, a loved one will be helping me with this whole eBook thing at some point after the convention; I shall let you know once the book is available in that format as well.

Here are more pictures of the newborn:

This was taken the day the book reached my mailbox. Goodness!

The cover turned out quite well… I can only hope that the contents are adequate!

May it be, now and then,  a source of comfort to those who read it; that is my only ambition for it.

Your devoted
Logospilgrim, the quiet professor

  1. I just ordered the book. I can’t wait to read it. All your other books have been very enlightening and I’m sure this one will be too. So sorry I can’t go to Ascendio and meet you. Best of luck there!

    • I wish I were meeting you there too, most beloved!

Thank you so much for your kind words… I am very unsure about my scribblings, but that is one of the main themes of my most recent book: feel the uncertainty and extend your wings.

*goes back to hiding underneath desk* 😉

  2. Dear Logospilgrim,

I hope you are feeling better and getting much rest now.
I was deeply touched by your 2 books on Severus Snape and I’ve started reading this new book and also look forward to getting the ebook when it comes out.

I too was very touched by the life of Severus Snape and I’ve thought long and hard about Harry Potter and was always saddened by JKR’s flagrant strategy of handicapping and then killing males so that no one could potentially outshine Harry. This especially applies to Professor Snape because his deep rooted and unhealed psychological problems are totally inconsistent with his actual role and responsibilities as a teacher and Dumbledor’s ‘right hand man.’ As critics have said, this is one of the major flaws in the HP series and hopefully will be corrected some day if/when JKR revises her wonderful work. If you are interested in reading more on this, there is a review of these issues on Amazon for the book ‘Destiny Unfulfilled’ by Jim Adam. The customer review was written on June 22, 2012 and is called

I mention this to you because I know the important effect Professor Snape has had on your own spiritual life, and thought that it would perhaps be an additional great blessing to you and others if you thought and wrote about the Snape that should have been originally created by JKR.

    Best wishes 🙂

    • My dearest one,

thank you so much for all your kind words 🙂

I think that if I were to write about what Professor Snape should have been like, I would go ahead and write my own novel centered around a character inspired by him… That may well happen in a few years from now! But on the whole, I am happy with Rowling’s novels; the story, and the characters as she wrote them, present their own intriguing challenges and opportunities for growth in the midst of thorns, paradox and uncertainty.

I hope with all my heart that my latest offering will be of comfort to you! Once again, thank you for your thoughts and encouragement; they are most appreciated ♥
