how the decades fly by

Kind readers,

one of my seasonal offerings of love and good will this year has to do with two tapes that had been gathering dust in my living room cupboard for a long time…

I had them transferred onto CDs this week (at Home Video Studio -their service is excellent), and uploaded the material to Suncloud yesterday.

If you would like to read all the details concerning my “Almost twenty years ago, I was in band, man” story, do take a peek at my latest livejournal post! It includes lyrics, cosplay photos, and a whole lot of wacky adventures.

I have sung for a few -short- sustained periods in my life, and always found it incredibly draining; I am much happier in front of a keyboard (the kind that involves typing and quietude and seclusion) than a microphone, but I am glad I had this experience, which I am sharing with you now.

Here are the recordings for you…

Visit the following link for some ambient melodies recorded in 1995 (some scratchy tape bits, but overall not half bad) and 1996 (even better audio quality, and a more mature sound): 🙂

  1. I like listening to your music. Is this you singing with your band on YouTube?

    Hope you are well!

    • Thank you! I am glad you are enjoying the recordings 🙂

No, that is not me singing in that YouTube video… That track was part of a compilation album released after I left the band, and the vocals were done by someone else.

I hope you are well also!
